Survival tools and knives
Survival tools and knives are essentials to anyone’s survival kit. Not only are they essential for your roadside emergency kit but your home emergency preparedness kit as well. Unfortunately, these are the most-commonly forgotten items in any one survival kit. When they could very well save your life in an emergency situation; but, what kind of tools should you include in your survival kit?
Knives serves a dual purpose during an emergency, they make wonderful tools and items of protection in a time of chaos. They should never be forgotten in one’s survival kit!
Some of the other items that you may want to include in your emergency preparedness kit along with your water and food are:
- A storage container for your tools.
- Socket sets! Both ¼ inch 3/8 inch and ½ inch socket sets may very well prove useful when trying to find water.
- Pliers. Many different types of pliers should be included such as needle-nose, side-cutting, electrical crimp, and slip-joints or locking pliers should be in your storage.
- Wrenches of different sizes.
- Screw drivers.
- A hammer.
- Spare wire, bulbs, bolts, etc
- Electrical tape
- Duct tape
- Knives!
