    Emergency radios may seem to be a thing of the past, but they are still an essential to you and your family’s survival during an emergency. While it may not seem that important, the knowledge of what is happening is priceless during a disaster.
      An emergency radio is simply a radio receiver that is designed to stay functional during power outages, isolation from civilization, and wide-spread disasters. Often times running on little or no power source (or at very least solar powered).

Especially since there are so many different shapes, sizes, colors, and power sources to choose from.
